Five Innovative Highlights Lead the Way: The International Media Week for CHINA PRINT 2025 Successfully Held in Beijing
From February 24th to 27th, the series of events for "International Media Week for the 11th Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition (CHINA PRINT 2025)" was grandly held in Beijing. During the Media Week, the organizing committee introduced the innovative highlights and services of this year's exhibition to global industry peers. Representatives from 17 major exhibitors across various printing sectors, including offset printing, digital printing, post-press packaging, and post-press bookbinding, simultaneously released their exhibition plans. Additionally, a communication symposium for printing industry associations of various provinces and municipalities in China was held, once again extending a sincere invitation to global industry colleagues!
On the morning of February 25th to 26th, the International Media Week for CHINA PRINT 2025 conference was convened. More than 200 guests attended the event, including representatives from printing industry associations in over 10 countries such as Pakistan, Russia, the Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Italy, Indonesia, India, and the United Kingdom. Also present were leaders from press and publication bureaus, printing, packaging, and publishing associations from 46 provinces, regions and cities across China, as well as representatives from domestic and international professional media and exhibiting companies. The event received strong support from the Beijing Central Business District (CBD) Management Committee and was live-streamed globally.
The International Media Week for CHINA PRINT 2025 was successfully held at Beijing Marriott Hotel Northeast.
2025 marks the inaugural year for fully implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the final year of the printing industry’s 14th Five-Year Plan. Currently, China’s printing industry has become the largest in the world by scale. In 2023, the total output value of China’s printing industry reached RMB 1.44 trillion.
During his speech at the event, Mr. Bin YANG, Vice President of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC), highlighted four major trends shaping the future of China’s printing sector:
- Digital Transformation and Upgrading: Digital printing, digitization of printing, digital automation, and artificial intelligence will converge to drive innovation. Printing plants will increasingly adopt automated production lines, smart workshops, and intelligent factories, creating opportunities for equipment manufacturers and integrated solution providers.
- Global Market Expansion: Chinese printing enterprises will broaden their overseas presence, facing both significant opportunities and challenges.
- Intensive Development: Consolidation through mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships will create synergy. The leverage effect on the growth of the industry will be amplified by economies of scale.
- Sustainable Development: Green practices will be integrated throughout the entire lifecycle—from the eco-friendly production and preparation of raw materials, to environmentally responsible printing processes, the use of printed products, and ultimately, product recycling and reuse.

Five Highlights, Innovation Driven: The CHINA PRINT 2025 Ready to Launch
Mr. Kaibing SHI, General Manager of China Print Show Company Limited (CPSC), provided a detailed overview of the exhibition's overall planning, highlights, concurrent events, audience organization, and innovative services. He emphasized that compared to previous editions, the CHINA PRINT 2025 boasts even more "new highlights" worth noting:
1. Unprecedented Scale: The exhibition area spans a record-breaking 180,000 square meters.
The CHINA PRINT 2025 will be held grandly from May 15th to 19th at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) and the Capital International Exhibition Center of China (CIECC). Centered on the theme "4 Decades Together, for a Grand Future," the exhibition will feature eight major display themes and five innovative zones, closely aligning with industry trends and vividly showcasing the entire spectrum of the printing industry. Over 1,300 exhibitors will participate, covering a total area of 180,000 square meters, and it is expected to attract more than 200,000 professional visitors from around the world.
2. Comprehensive Brands: Renowned global printing equipment manufacturers, printing material suppliers, and printing service providers will all participate.
The CHINA PRINT 2025 has garnered strong support from industry leaders. In the traditional printing sector, companies such as Heidelberg, Koenig & Bauer, Komori, RMGT (DINGA), Manroland, and Beiren Intelligent will showcase their latest innovations. In the digital printing domain, industry giants like HP, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Fujifilm Business Innovation, and Landa will make their presence felt. The intelligent post-press segment will feature prominent names such as Martini, Horizon, Hoerauf, Kurz, JMD, and HXCP. The comprehensive packaging sector will see participation from leading companies like Masterwork Group, Zhongde Group, Zenbo, Haosheng, Guowang, Dayuan, and Shengtu. In the label printing field, exhibitors such as Weigang, Wanjie, General Inkjet Printing, Pulisi, and Caisheng will highlight cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, the materials and consumables sector will be represented by industry leaders like Huaguang, Strong State, Huafeng, Bocica, Toyoink Group, and Hangzhou Toka Ink, all of whom regard the CHINA PRINT 2025 as their most important exhibition platform in the Asia-Pacific region.
A particularly noteworthy highlight is the participation of Landa Digital Printing, a pioneer in nanographic printing technology, which will make its debut independent exhibition in Asia with the highly anticipated LANDA SHOW. Manroland, one of the giants in offset printing, will return to the CHINA PRINT stage after many years, adding to the excitement. Shengda Print, a rising star in the commercial printing sector, will also make a remarkable appearance. Furthermore, the exhibition has attracted numerous new international brands, including the Italian inkjet printing specialist Durst and ContiTech from the German Continental Group, further enriching the event's global appeal.
3. New Product Launches: The event will showcase global, Asian, and Chinese premieres of cutting-edge technologies and products.
As a globally anticipated international event in the printing industry for 2025, the CHINA PRINT 2025 has garnered significant attention from major multinational and domestic enterprises in the printing sector. These companies will unveil a range of new products, technologies, materials, and processes, many of which will debut globally, in Asia, or in China for the first time. The exhibition will feature a comprehensive array of high-speed, high-efficiency, multi-color, and multi-functional printing equipment which are digitized, networked and intelligent, including offset and digital printing machines, as well as advanced, highly automated, and intelligent post-press equipment, pre-press plate making, and printing apparatuses. The event will also showcase digital workflows, smart factories, and intelligent workshops enabled by a complete industrial chain, offering a glimpse into the future of the printing industry.
4. Enhanced Services: Digital, on-site, and visitor services will feature exciting new highlights.
The CHINA PRINT 2025 will enhance its digital services with the launch of an upgraded mini-program “CHINA PRINT” in March, introducing several new features. Through the mini-program, (1) exhibitors can generate exclusive invitation letters for visitors and export visitor data from the backend; (2) visitors can post procurement requests, enabling exhibitors to directly negotiate and collaborate with buyers, facilitating seamless demand matching that can continue online even after the exhibition ends; and (3) buyers can schedule meetings and activities, allowing them to book appointments with exhibitors for products of interest and reserve spots for on-site events.
In addition, on-site and visitor services will also see significant upgrades. During the exhibition, multiple cultural and creative shops, rest areas, and beverage services will be available. To enhance the overall experience, the organizing committee will provide free parking services throughout the event, ensuring a convenient and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
5. Cross-Border Innovation: The Green Innovation Park (GIP) will steal the spotlight with its innovative displays.
As one of the standout features of the CHINA PRINT, the Green Innovation Park (GIP) will make a grand return. The GIP focuses on showcasing cross-disciplinary technological integration and innovative applications, featuring dedicated zones for AI + printing and packaging, digital automation, sustainable development, industry-academia-research collaboration, and cultural creativity. Highlights include the latest advancements in robotics + printing and packaging, robotic arms and AGVs, smart factories, innovative and eco-friendly materials, VOCs treatment, and water-based inks.
Within the GIP, a state-of-the-art technology lecture area will be set up, where renowned industry experts will share insights on AI multimodal systems, customized small models, flexible screen technology, and other innovative trends, sparking intellectual exchange. Additionally, the GIP will include group visitor rest areas, negotiation zones, and photogenic spots for cultural creativity, offering attendees the chance to explore new technologies, stay updated on industry trends, and enjoy creative cultural experiences, all while enhancing their overall exhibition experience.

Members from the Global Print Alliance (“Global Print”) and Asia Print Association (“Asia Print”), both of which are overseas supporting organizations for the CHINA PRINT event, also participated in the International Media Week, engaging in extensive communication, exchanges, and discussions with the organizing committee. They expressed their commitment to actively organizing overseas buyer delegations from their member countries to attend the CHINA PRINT 2025 in May. The organizing committee assured strong support for these overseas buyer groups.
On the afternoon of February 26, a communication symposium for printing industry associations of various provinces and municipalities in China was successfully held. Over 40 leaders from printing industry associations across various provinces and cities, including Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Guangxi, Shaanxi, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Shandong, Weihai, Yunnan, Hebei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Xinjiang, Hainan, Fujian, Hubei, Wenzhou, and Longgang, attended the event.
The meeting was hosted by Nadine WANG, Deputy Secretary-General of PEIAC. Mr. Minqiang YANG, Vice President of PEIAC, delivered the welcome speech, and Mr. Zhanjun WANG, Director of the Group Member Office, provided a detailed introduction to the arrangements for group visitor receptions at the CHINA PRINT 2025.
